Family Round Table
About This Event
Spots are filling fast — do not wait on this one. We have limited seating for this lunch and the interest has already been strong. If you have been meaning to come to one of our events, this is the one to show up for. Secure your spot now.
The families we serve do not just need one person. They need a team. They need the attorney who understands the custody order and the therapist who understands the trauma underneath it. They need the school counselor who sees what is happening every day in the classroom and the CPS worker who knows the case history. They need the CASA volunteer who is the one consistent adult voice in a child's life and the judge who is trying to make the best decision with incomplete information. They need the nonprofit leader who can fill the gap when the system runs out of options.
The problem is we almost never get to sit in the same room together. We each do our part and hand the family off, often not knowing what happened next or what the person before us already tried. That disconnect costs these families. It costs us time, energy, and outcomes we could have gotten right the first time if we had just talked to each other.
The Family Round Table exists to fix that. This is not a conference. There are no panels, no keynote speakers, no PowerPoints. It is a lunch where the people doing this work pull up a chair, eat together, and have an honest conversation. What are you seeing right now? What is not working? What do you wish the other people in the room understood about your role? What have you figured out that someone else in this room needs to hear?
This table is for you if you are a therapist, attorney, school counselor, CPS worker, CASA volunteer, nonprofit leader, judge, mediator, HR professional, pediatrician, hospital social worker, military chaplain, or anyone else whose work puts you in contact with families and individuals who need help. Every perspective at this table matters. The work only gets done when we understand each other's role, trust each other's judgment, and know who to call.
Lunch is provided. Space is limited. If you want a seat at this table, claim it now — and bring someone from your team or a colleague who should be in the room.
